The iSN-701X converts a 1-axis IEPE accelerometer signal into eigenvalues that can be read directly over Ethernet or RS-485. The built-in 4 mA excitation current powers the sensor, and a 24-bit A/D converter handles the measurement, so the module can be connected to the accelerometer without a separate signal conditioner.
Measured values are available through Modbus TCP on the RJ-45 port or Modbus RTU on the RS-485 port. The module also provides a threshold alarm: an alarm is raised when a vibration eigenvalue exceeds its configured limit. LED indicators show sensor Normal, Open and Short status.
