M-6000
The M-6018-16 is a 16-channel differential analog input module for engineers who need to capture thermocouple, voltage and current signals on one RS-485 network. A single unit can serve a mix of sensor types across its channels.Voltage inputs span ±15 mV to ±2.5 V, and current inputs cover ±20 mA, 0 to +20 mA and +4 to +20 mA. The +4 to +20 mA range requires an optional external 125 Ω resistor. Thermocouple types J, K, T, E, R, S, B, N and C are supported, with open wire detection for thermocouple inputs. Overvoltage protection up to 120 VDC and 3000 VDC intra-module isolation are provided.Communication is through one RS-485 port using Modbus RTU or DCON at 1200 to 115200 bps. The module accepts +10 to +48 VDC with reverse polarity protection and operates from -25 to +75 °C.ApplicationsBuilding AutomationFactory AutomationMachine AutomationRemote MaintenanceRemote DiagnosisTesting Equipment
The M-6026U-32 CR combines 16 universal input channels and 16 universal output channels on one RS-485 module, so a single board covers both sides of an I/O point count. This suits enclosures where space is tight and where separate input and output boards would add mounting time and cost. Each universal input can be configured as an analogue input or a dry-contact digital input. Analogue inputs accept 0 ~ 2.5 V, 0 ~ 5 V, 0 ~ 10 V, 0 ~ 20 mA and 4 ~ 20 mA signals, and also Pt1000 RTD sensors, at 16-bit resolution. The 16 analogue outputs provide 0 ~ 10 V or 0 ~ 20 mA / 4 ~ 20 mA signals at 12-bit resolution, with open wire detection for 4 ~ 20 mA.The module communicates over one RS-485 port using Modbus RTU at 1200 ~ 115200 bps, with selectable data formats. It is powered from a terminal block at 24 VAC or 24 VDC, draws 14 W max., and operates from -25 ~ +75 °C.ApplicationsHeating system in buildingsVentilation systemAir-conditioning systemHVAC control, lighting control, door monitoringRefrigeration control
The M-6088-32 is a 32-channel pulse width modulation (PWM) output module for RS-485 networks. Each channel generates a waveform with a variable duty cycle and frequency from a digital output, which makes it a practical way to build cost-effective analogue control systems without dedicated analogue output hardware.Channels can run in burst mode or continuous mode, depending on the control requirement. Outputs can be driven individually or synchronously, with a duty cycle range of 0.1 ~ 99.9 % and a burst count of 1 ~ 65535. Communication uses either DCON or Modbus RTU, and different addresses can be set by hardware to support Modbus RTU operation. The module provides open-collector sink outputs rated +5 ~ +40 VDC at 200 mA per channel, with a power-on value and a safe value that can be set. Dual watchdog protection is built in, covering the module and communication, and intra-module isolation is rated 2500 VDC.ApplicationsHeating system control in buildingsVentilation system controlFan speed controlMotor speed or position controlLamp brightness control
