Bluetooth Product
The BLE-USB CR is a compact converter that bridges a USB host to a Bluetooth low energy piconet. It suits engineers who need a USB-attached BLE radio without an external power supply or antenna, as the unit is USB socket powered and uses a 1.0 dBi chip antenna. The module offers two transmission modes. In advertisement mode it operates as broadcaster or observer, while in connection mode it can act as central or peripheral. Connection parameters such as RF power level, broadcast parameters and the number of slaves are set through AT commands, and the supplied Windows utility allows configuration and testing over USB. A slave security mechanism causes the device to ignore connection requests from illegal masters. The manufacturer lists this ordering variant for Asia only. Please check the intended deployment region before specifying the unit for European projects.ApplicationsWireless USB-to-Bluetooth LE links for Windows PCsConnecting Bluetooth LE devices to WinPAC and LinPAC controllers
GAM-100 CR is a Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth 4.0) gauge master that connects Mitutoyo gauges via their SPC interface. A smartphone or tablet can then receive measurement data wirelessly through the unit, without a cable run to the gauge. The unit has a built-in micro USB rechargeable Li-ion battery, rated at 100 hours at a 10 Hz transmission rate. Transmission rates of 1, 2, 5 and 10 Hz are selected in the Android app, which is also used for gauge data acquisition and configuration. Measurements can be logged with the trigger button or a 3.5 mm foot switch, in single or continuous trigger mode.Data can be kept in local memory on the mobile device or uploaded to a remote MySQL server. Status is shown by LEDs for battery, RF link and charging.ApplicationsWireless dimensional measurement with Mitutoyo gaugesLogging gauge measurements to a mobile deviceUploading measurement data to a remote MySQL serverQuality control and statistical process control data collection
Serial to Bluetooth LE bridge for RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 networks. The tBLE-720 CR lets a serial device join a Bluetooth LE piconet without running cable. It converts data from RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 into Bluetooth LE, and the link can be made to a second tBLE-720 or to a smartphone, tablet or notebook. The module offers two transmission modes. In advertisement mode it operates as broadcaster or observer, and in connection mode as central or peripheral. A DIP switch selects the transmission mode and role, and a rotary switch sets the baud rate. Connection and broadcast parameters can be adjusted with AT commands, and a Windows GUI configuration utility is available for setup and testing over the serial interface. A slave security mechanism causes the slave to ignore connection requests from illegal masters.Status and RF link LEDs assist with troubleshooting. The unit is DIN-rail mounted with a plastic housing and operates from +10 ~ +30 VDC over the range -25 ~ +75 °C. The manufacturer marks this model as Asia only.ApplicationsWireless extension of RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 serial networksBluetooth LE links between serial devices and smartphones, tablets or notebooks
