SG-3383 CR is a DC current signal splitter that accepts one 4 to 20 mA input and provides three optically isolated 4 to 20 mA outputs, each linearly related to the input. It offers a cost-effective way to send one process signal to three separate devices.
The input is filtered, amplified and split before passing through an opto-coupler to the output stages. Three-way isolation between input, output and power, together with 4 kV EFT protection on the power line and 8 kV ESD protection, helps with ground loop elimination, common mode rejection and noise reduction. Each output has its own zero and span adjustment for calibrating output range accuracy, and an LED indicates module status.
Typical uses include splitting a signal for control and validation, separating output devices, or providing redundancy so that one device failure does not disable the entire loop. The module is designed for DIN-rail or wall mounting.
