The WF-2017 CR adds wireless connectivity to analog measurement with a 16-bit input module offering either 8 differential or 16 single-ended channels. Current and voltage ranges, including 0 ~ +20 mA, +4 ~ +20 mA and ±10 V, are selectable, so one module can cover a range of sensor signals in monitoring and control systems.
Wireless access uses IEEE 802.11b/g with WEP, WPA and WPA2 encryption. The module supports Modbus/TCP and UDP and can obtain its network settings via DHCP, which simplifies integration with SCADA software. The package includes an ANT-124-05 antenna and a CA-0910 cable, and the stated line-of-sight transmission distance is 50 meters.
Power is supplied from +10 VDC to +30 VDC at 2.2 W. The unit mounts on DIN-rail, operates from -25 ~ +75 °C and provides 3000 VDC intra-module isolation for power. This variant is listed for Asia only.
