The WF-2042 CR is a wireless digital output module with 16 isolated sink-type (NPN) channels. It connects switching outputs to a Wi-Fi network, so engineers can add remote control to monitoring and control systems without running dedicated field wiring back to a central controller.
Wi-Fi connectivity follows IEEE 802.11 b/g and supports both infrastructure and ad hoc modes. Communication uses Modbus/TCP and UDP, with DHCP for network configuration, which simplifies integration with SCADA software. Each output has a power-on value and a safe value, and a built-in watchdog helps the module respond to communication faults.
The CR ordering code includes the ANT-124-05 antenna and CA-0910 cable. The module is rated for an operating temperature of -25 ~ +75 °C and mounts on a DIN rail. The manufacturer lists it as Asia only, so please check this against your market before ordering.
