The ZT-2005-C8 is an 8-channel thermistor input module that also works as a ZigBee router, so it can measure temperature at remote points and relay readings within a personal area ZigBee network built on IEEE 802.15.4. Each channel delivers 12-bit resolution with ±1 °C accuracy, with a total sampling rate of 10 Hz.
The module suits distributed temperature monitoring where cabling is impractical. It supports the ZigBee repeater function and both DCON and Modbus RTU protocols, uses AES-128 encryption and has a typical line-of-sight range of 700 m. Module address, protocol, checksum, ZB-PID and ZB-channel are set with rotary and DIP switches.
Power is supplied from +10 VDC to +30 VDC at 1 W maximum. The unit provides 1000 VDC intra-module isolation and 4 kV ESD protection, mounts on DIN-rail and operates from -25 °C to +75 °C. This ordering code includes one thermistor probe (φ6x60 mm stainless steel pipe, 4.94 m wiring). The ordering information specifies Asia only.
