ET-2228CIS is an 8-channel analog output module for distributed control over Ethernet. Each channel can be set individually to a voltage range (0 ~ +5 VDC or 0 ~ +10 VDC) or a current range (0 ~ 20 mA or 4 ~ 20 mA), with 12-bit resolution and output readback, so it suits engineers who need to drive mixed field devices from one node.
The built-in 2-port 10/100 Base-Tx switch with LAN bypass allows simple daisy-chain wiring. Protection features include over-value protection, dual watchdogs, short circuit protection and open wire detection on 4 ~ 20 mA outputs. Configurable power-on and safe values define the output state at start-up and during communication faults.
Communication is handled through Modbus TCP/UDP, MQTT and SNMP V2c, with a built-in web server for configuration. I/O pair connection allows remote analog input data to be written to local analog outputs in Pull mode via Modbus TCP. Isolation is rated at 3000 VDC for I/O and 3000 VDC channel-to-channel.
