The XV511i CR is a 4-channel RS-485 expansion board that adds isolated serial ports to the UA-2241M, WP-2241M-CE7 and LP-2241M controllers. It is useful where a controller needs more RS-485 connections than its onboard interfaces provide.
Each port is electrically isolated and protected against 4 kV ESD, which helps keep the serial bus robust in electrically noisy installations. Ports run at up to 921600 bps, so the board suits fast serial links as well as slower field devices.
The board draws 0.74 W and measures 66 mm x 82 mm x 14 mm (W x L x H). It is rated for an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C, with storage from -30 ~ +80 °C and 10 ~ 90% RH non-condensing humidity. CE, UKCA, RoHS and WEEE certifications are listed.
