The GPS-721U-MRTU-UTA is a compact GPS/GLONASS receiver module for engineers who need satellite position and time data delivered over serial links. Position data is output in NMEA 0183 format, while the RS-232 and RS-485 ports can also be configured for DCON or Modbus RTU, so the module can be integrated into existing control architectures without a protocol converter.
Beyond position reporting, the module provides a dedicated 1 PPS output that emits a 100 ms pulse every second by default. This makes it suitable for time synchronisation and time measurement tasks, and the PPS function can be combined with another time source. A separate digital output channel is also fitted, giving additional discrete signalling alongside the GNSS data.
The -UTA variant is intended for applications with a -40 ℃ requirement and operates from -40 ~ +75°C. The module is supplied with a 5 m GPS antenna (ANT-115-03-02). Use DCON Utility Pro to select the GNSS system; changes take effect after the module is powered off and on again.
