tWF-AD5 CR is a compact Wi-Fi remote I/O controller with five differential voltage analog inputs. It connects to 802.11b/g/n wireless networks, so engineers can bring monitoring and control points into an existing WLAN infrastructure without running new cabling to the measurement point.
The module can operate in Access Point (limited AP) or Station (STA) mode and can be configured from a PC utility, an Android app or a web browser. It communicates using Modbus TCP, which allows straightforward integration with SCADA software and HMI Modbus applications. Network encryption options include Open, WEP and WPA2.
Analog inputs offer voltage ranges of ±1.25 V, ±2.5 V, ±5 V and ±10 V, with 14-bit resolution in Normal mode or 12-bit in Fast mode. The module provides 3000 VDC intra-module isolation and accepts a 9 to 48 VDC supply with reverse polarity protection. It mounts on DIN-rail. The product page lists this variant as Asia only.
