The XV111A CR is a 16-channel digital output expansion board with source-type (PNP) outputs. Each channel is photocoupler isolated and rated for a load voltage of 10 ~ 40 VDC and a load current of 600 mA per channel, which suits engineers adding switched DC outputs to a PAC I/O system.
Each output is protected against overvoltage at 47 VDC, as well as against overload and short circuits. Power-on output values are programmable, so the board can be set to a defined state when it powers up. The board also provides 4 kV contact ESD protection on each terminal and 3750 VDC intra-module isolation.
Configuration and status are handled over a single RS-232 port running Modbus/RTU at 115200 bps, data format N, 8, 1. The board draws its 5 VDC supply from the terminal block, consumes 0.8 W maximum, and measures 59 mm x 82 mm x 13 mm. It is specified for operation from -25 ~ +75 °C.
