I-8211W-G is a GPS/GLONASS receiver module that gives a LinPAC controller a precise time reference from satellite signals. Once fitted, the controller can take its time from the satellites rather than relying on its real-time clock alone, which keeps timestamps accurate over time.
The module plugs into any slot of the LinPAC (LX-8x31 and LP-8x21 series). The controller launches the application automatically and acquires GPS or GLONASS time, bringing the time error under 1 ms. The module is preset to GPS, and the LinPAC settings can be changed to use GLONASS instead. Satellite support also includes SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS).
