The ET-2224 is a remote Ethernet I/O module that drives four analog outputs, selectable as voltage or current. Engineers can choose between 0 ~ +5 VDC, ±5 VDC, 0 ~ +10 VDC, ±10 VDC, 0 ~ 20 mA and 4 ~ 20 mA on each channel, with configurable power-on and safe values, and open wire detection on the 4 ~ 20 mA outputs.
A built-in 2-port switch with LAN bypass allows modules to be daisy-chained along the network, which reduces cabling and switch hardware. The module reports I/O status over Modbus TCP/UDP, and can act as an MQTT publisher and subscriber or send SNMP V2c information and traps to network management software.
The ET-2224 CR is the RoHS-compliant ordering variant. It offers 3000 VDC I/O isolation and EMS protection against EFT, ESD and surge, and it is configured through a built-in web server with password and IP filter access control.
