The WLS-CFG CR is a compact USB configurator for the WLS wireless locating system. It reads the base messages of WLS Tags and changes their settings from a Windows PC, so engineers can commission or check Tags without extra wiring or external antennas.
The unit uses the ISM 2.4 GHz band with Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) RF technology and has a built-in 3dBi directional PCB antenna. Tags share the same frequency, so no RF settings are needed on the configurator itself. The supplied WLS Analyzer software handles reading and setting parameters such as RF channel, RF power and timed transmission cycle, and its driver installs automatically with the software.
The manufacturer lists this model as Asia only. It is rated for -25 °C to +75 °C operation and is RoHS and WEEE listed.
