The tZT-P4C4 is a compact ZigBee router that brings four isolated digital inputs and four isolated digital outputs onto a 2.4 GHz wireless link. It suits remote switch and status monitoring, or switching of loads, at points where running cable is difficult or costly. Each channel is photocoupler isolated, and the module offers 3750 VDC intra-module isolation.
The digital inputs are source-type wet contacts with a 100 Hz frequency rating, and each channel can be configured as a 16-bit counter with a maximum count of 65535. The outputs are isolated open-collector, sink-type channels rated at 700 mA per channel, with overvoltage and overload protection. Power-on and safe output values are programmable, so outputs can be set to a defined state at start-up or when communication is lost.
The module is fully compliant with the ZigBee 2007 Pro and IEEE 802.15.4 specifications and can act as a repeater to extend the network. Wireless traffic is protected with AES-128 encryption. Configuration is carried out with the Windows GUI configuration software. Supported protocols are DCON and ModBus. Note that this ordering code is listed for Asia only.
