The PISO-730U CR is a universal PCI card for engineers who need both opto-isolated and TTL-level digital I/O in one slot. It has 16 isolated digital inputs, 16 isolated open-collector outputs (NPN sink), and 16 TTL digital inputs and 16 TTL digital outputs, on a 32-bit, 33 MHz PCI bus.
The isolated channels are rated at 3750 Vrms, which keeps field wiring electrically separate from the host PC and helps prevent ground loops. The isolated outputs include a Darlington (NPN) transistor and an integrated suppression diode for inductive loads, and the outputs can be read back at register level. A 4-bit SMD Card ID switch lets software identify each board when two or more cards are fitted in one computer.
This ordering code includes one CA-4002 D-Sub connector. Drivers and development support cover Linux, DOS and Windows, with a DLL, ActiveX control and sample programs for several languages including C#.NET, Visual Basic.NET and LabVIEW.
