XV107 CR is an 8-channel digital input and 8-channel digital output expansion board for PAC I/O applications. Each channel is photocoupler-isolated. The inputs are source-type wet contacts, while the outputs are sink-type NPN drivers that switch loads from 3.5 to 50 VDC at up to 700 mA per channel.
All eight input channels can be configured as 32-bit counters, which suits pulse and event counting. Output power-on values are programmable, so outputs can be set to a defined state at start-up. The outputs are protected against overload and short circuit, and the inputs tolerate up to 70 VDC.
The board communicates through a single RS-232 port using Modbus/RTU at 115200 bps, 8 data bits, no parity and 1 stop bit. The XV107A offers the same specification with the input and output types reversed, so choose the XV107 CR when source-type inputs and sink-type outputs are required.
