The X105 adds eight programmable digital channels to the I-7188XC. Each channel can be set as a digital input or a digital output, so one board can serve either role depending on how the application needs it.
On the input side, the channels accept an ON level of 3.5 ~ 30 VDC and read OFF at 1 VDC max. The outputs are TTL level. Channels are non-isolated, so the board suits designs where galvanic separation is not required at the I/O.
Each µPAC accepts only one X-board, so the X105 is a straightforward way to add discrete I/O to an I-7188XC. It draws 0.3 W, measures 38 mm x 64 mm, and is rated for an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C.
