WP-5141-TC is a Programmable Automation Controller that combines a PXA270 processor running at 520 MHz with Windows CE 5.0. It suits engineers who want PC-based control software, such as Visual Basic .NET, Visual C# or SCADA packages, running on a DIN-rail controller that is designed for industrial environments.
The unit offers 128 MB SDRAM, 64 MB Flash, 16 KB EEPROM for data retention and optional microSD storage of up to 32 GB. Connectivity includes two 10/100 Ethernet ports, serial RS-232/RS-485 ports with the RS-485 port isolated at 2500 VDC, a USB port, a built-in VGA output and a real-time clock.
Expansion is handled through a single I/O expansion bus that accepts one XW-board. The manufacturer states that more than 10 boards are available for the WinPAC-5000 series. This ordering code is the Traditional Chinese version of the standard WP-5000 unit.
