The WP-5141-EN is a Windows CE 5.0 programmable automation controller built around a PXA270 520 MHz processor. It suits engineers who want PLC-style deterministic control alongside the flexibility of a PC-class operating system, with 128 MB SDRAM and 64 MB Flash on board for application and data storage.
Connectivity covers two 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, RS-232 and RS-485 serial links, USB host and client ports, and a built-in VGA output for local display. A single I/O expansion bus slot lets you add digital, analogue, timer/counter or UART functions using one of the XW-board modules from the WinPAC-5000 range.
Software support includes .NET Compact Framework 3.5, an FTP server, a web server and an embedded SQL server, with SDK libraries for eVC and Visual Studio .NET 2003/2005/2008. The unit is supplied as the multilanguage version, with interface languages including English, German, French, Spanish and Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
