The WP-2241M-CE7 is a WinCE PAC for engineers who need a Windows CE 7.0 controller with a 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor and hard real-time capability in a metal housing. Its 512 MB SDRAM, 256 MB Flash and microSD slot (up to 32 GB) provide space for application programs, images and data, and 64 KB of FRAM is available for data retention.
Connectivity centres on two 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet ports, two RS-232 and two RS-485 serial ports (the RS-485 ports 2500 VDC isolated), two USB 2.0 host ports and a built-in VGA output. An I/O expansion bus interface accepts the XV-board, an optional expansion board providing high-protection I/O.
The unit includes a real-time clock, a dual watchdog timer and a 64-bit hardware serial number for software protection. It is designed for DIN-rail mounting with an IP30 rating and an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C.
