The WISE-5236M-4GC is a metal-cased IIoT edge controller for remote logic control and monitoring. Logic is configured through a web interface in a browser, so no separate software tool is needed and control rules can be built with IF-THEN-ELSE statements, without writing code. Timer, schedule and data logger functions are included for unattended operation.
On the I/O side, the controller accepts XV-board, DCON or Modbus RTU slave modules on its serial ports, and Modbus TCP slave modules over Ethernet. It also supports CGI command exchange with IP cameras and network devices. For connectivity, it provides Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT, and can send LINE, WeChat, SMS and email messages. The 4G module is supplied for the China frequency band and this variant is intended for China only.
This model suits engineers building monitoring and control systems in building, factory and machine automation, as well as remote maintenance and diagnosis projects that need local logic and a path to IoT cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and IBM Bluemix.
