The VP-6208-CE7 CR is the 15-inch member of the Win-GRAF ViewPAC series. It combines a Windows CE 7 computing platform, an operator display and an embedded Win-GRAF SoftLogic controller in a single panel-mount unit, so HMI, data acquisition and control can run in one device rather than across separate PLC and panel PC hardware.
The 1024 x 768 TFT display has a 5-wire resistive touch panel and sits behind a NEMA 4/IP65 rated front panel. The unit uses a fanless design rated for -10 ~ +60°C operation. Logic can be written in IEC 61131-3 languages with Win-GRAF, while the HMI can be built with the bundled eLogger tool or with Visual Studio 2008 (VB .NET, C#), and both can exchange data.
For connectivity, the unit provides a Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 ports and three isolated serial ports (one RS-485 and two RS-232/RS-485). It supports Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA and DCON, and it can be powered from PoE or a +12 ~ 48 VDC supply. The ordering description identifies this variant as RoHS.
