USB-2560 CR is a 4-port industrial USB 2.0 hub for adding several USB peripherals to a computer without relying on the host for power. It operates only in self-powered mode, drawing its supply from an external +10 ~ +30 VDC source, so downstream devices are not dependent on the computer's USB power budget.
The hub is compliant with USB Specification Revision 2.0 and supports high-speed (480 Mbit/s), full-speed (12 Mbit/s) and low-speed (1.5 Mbit/s) transfers. Each downstream port can supply up to 500 mA, and a status LED for each port shows its operating state. The package includes a CA-USB18 USB 2.0 A-Male to B-Male cable, 1.8 m long, for connection to the host.
The plastic housing mounts on DIN-rail and is rated for an operating range of 0 ~ +75 °C, making it suited to control cabinet installations where several USB devices need to be connected to an industrial PC or computer.
