UA-2241MX-4GC CR is a metal IIoT communication server for engineers who need to connect field I/O and controllers to MES, ERP, SCADA or cloud services without writing custom middleware. It polls remote I/O and controllers over Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU/ASCII, MQTT and EtherNet/IP, then republishes the data as OPC UA, MQTT and SNMP at the same time.
Data logging is handled in two places. I/O values can be written directly to a remote MS SQL, MySQL or MariaDB database, with offline data recovery for the remote database, and kept as CSV files on a 32 GB microSD card. Cloud links cover Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, IBM Cloud and ThingSpeak, and IFTTT can trigger mobile app notifications when an event occurs.
The CR variant carries the 4G LTE radio configured for the China frequency bands, with FDD LTE B1/B3/B8 and TDD LTE B38/B39/B40/B41. Security options include HTTPS, an OpenVPN client, SNMP V3, communication encryption and a dynamic blocklist with whitelist support.
