The TPD-280-M3 CR is a compact touch HMI built around a 2.8-inch TFT colour screen with resistive touch. Its wall-mount form factor suits building and home automation projects where mechanical switches need to be replaced with a programmable control panel.
Programming options cover both PLC-style and C-language development. The free HMIWorks tool includes Ladder Designer for engineers coming from PLC programming, while a C language environment serves those who prefer text-based development. The unit also supports a custom communication protocol written in C.
This black-cover variant provides one RS-485 port with Modbus RTU support, powered from a +12 ~ 48 VDC terminal block with 1.5 W consumption. It is rated for operation from -20 ~ +70°C, with front-panel IP40 protection.
