The SG-3016-80-G CR is a signal conditioning module that takes a millivolt-level voltage input and delivers a voltage or current output for the rest of the control system. It suits engineers who need to condition strain gauge type signals on a DIN-rail without building a custom interface.
Input and output ranges are selected through internal configuration switches, so the same module can be matched to different sensor spans and controller inputs. Three VRs (Zero, Span and Exci) allow the accuracy of the input and output range to be calibrated, and an LED shows whether the module is functioning correctly. The typical bandwidth is 80 Hz.
Three-way isolation of 1000 VDC separates input, output and power, and the module operates from a +10 ~ +30 VDC supply with reverse polarity protection. The -G variant is listed with the RoHS-compliant strain gauge signal conditioner description.
