The PEX-1002H is a PCI Express x1 multi-function board for PC-based measurement. It combines a 12-bit analogue input section, sampling at up to 44 kS/s, with 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, all at 5 V/TTL levels. It suits engineers who need analogue acquisition and digital I/O in one slot.
The analogue inputs can be configured as 32 single-ended or 16 differential channels, with gains of 1, 10, 100 and 1000 and bipolar ranges from ±10 V down to ±0.01 V. Acquisition can be started by software, the internal programmable pacer or an external 5 V/TTL trigger. Pull-high and pull-low jumpers define the state of unconnected digital input channels, so they do not float.
An on-board 4-bit Card ID switch lets software identify each board when several cards are fitted to one computer. Driver support covers DLL and ActiveX control, with sample programs for a range of languages and LabVIEW. The unit is rated for operation from 0 to +60 °C and comes with one CA-4002 D-Sub connector.
