The MQ-7252M is an Ethernet I/O module that links digital sensors and actuators to IIoT platforms and supervisory systems over MQTT 3.1 or Modbus TCP. It provides 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs in a single DIN-rail or wall-mounted unit, so it can handle common discrete monitoring and switching tasks without a separate controller.
Configuration, network status monitoring and I/O status checks are handled through a built-in web server and web HMI, which can be opened in any standard browser on a computer or mobile device. The same interface can be used to switch individual digital output channels manually. Each output channel can drive up to 650 mA, and the power-on and safe values are programmable.
The integrated 2-port 10/100 Base-TX switch, with LAN bypass, allows devices to be daisy-chained along a network run. Optical isolation of 2500 VDC transient overvoltage protection is provided, although there is no channel-to-channel isolation. The module is suited to applications where hazardous voltages may be present.
