The LX-8031 CR is a 0-slot member of the LX-8000 Linux PAC series, combining a 1.0 GHz x86 dual-core processor, a VGA display output and a range of communication ports in a single DIN-rail or wall-mounted unit. It suits engineers who need an operator interface, data logging and control logic in one compact controller without local I/O modules.
Software is built on Linux kernel 3.2, with built-in web, FTP, Telnet and SSH services. The LinPAC SDK provides a GCC-based toolchain and libraries for developing applications in GNU C. Programs can be stored on a CF card or USB mass storage device.
Connectivity includes two 10/100/1000 Base-TX Ethernet ports, one non-isolated RS-232 port, three isolated serial ports and four USB 2.0 host ports. Redundant power inputs with an alarm relay are provided, and the unit is rated from -25 ~ +75 °C.
