I-9094 is a 4-axis pulse-type motion control module for the XP-9000 and WP-9000 programmable automation controllers. It suits engineers who need general-purpose motion control with independent axes, interpolated moves and encoder feedback on a PAC platform.
Most motion functions run on a dedicated motion ASIC rather than the PAC processor, so the CPU load stays low. While the motors are being driven, motion status and the other I/O channels on the PAC can still be monitored. Several motion modules can be fitted to a single controller.
Built-in functions include linear and circular interpolation, continuous interpolation, programmable T/S-curve profiles, automatic homing, position comparison and software limits. A set of synchronous actions allows event-triggered responses to be configured on the module.
