The I-8213W-4GE CR is an industrial 4G LTE modem with GPS, suited to moving data from remote instruments, meters, computers or control systems over cellular networks. It supports FDD LTE bands B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20, with WCDMA 850/900/2100 MHz and GSM/GPRS fallback, so it can be deployed where LTE coverage is patchy.
A built-in TCP/IP stack lets simple controllers with serial ports connect through the modem without developing a dedicated driver. The module accepts standard AT commands and supports TCP Server, TCP Client and UDP Client connections over 4G, 3G or GPRS. Its 32-channel GPS outputs NMEA 0183 v3.01 data for position reporting.
This -4GE variant covers the FDD LTE band set listed above and is sold for Asia excluding China. The sister -4GC variant uses FDD LTE B1/B3/B8 with TDD LTE B38/B39/B40/B41 instead. The module is designed to work alongside the XP-8000, WinPAC-8000 and LinPAC-8000 controllers for SMS, GPRS and 4G connections.
