The I-8050W-G CR provides 16 universal digital channels, each of which can be programmed as either a digital input or a digital output. This makes it a flexible choice where the I/O mix may change or is not fixed at the design stage.
Every channel is photocoupler isolated. Inputs are sink-type with a +10 ~ +30 VDC ON level, and outputs are isolated open-collector sink drivers rated for a +5 ~ +30 VDC load at 100 mA per channel, with short-circuit protection. Power-on and safe values can be configured for the outputs.
