The I-8042W-G CR is a 16-channel isolated digital input and 16-channel isolated digital output module for automation and control applications. Every input and output channel is photocoupler-isolated.
Each input can be wired for sink or source operation, giving flexibility when matching field devices. The outputs are isolated open-collector, sink (NPN) type, with short-circuit protection. Power-on and safe values can be configured for the outputs, and 32 LED indicators show channel status.
This ordering code includes the CA-4002F DB37 female connector with plastic cover. It is suited to the applications listed below.
