I-7530A-G Intelligent RS-232/485/422 to CAN Converter
Intelligent converter that links one RS-232, RS-485 or RS-422 serial port to a CAN 2.0A/2.0B bus at up to 1 Mbps, with 3 kV isolation and transparent serial-to-CAN forwarding.

I-7530A-G bridges serial devices and CAN bus networks. Its single COM port can be set to RS-232, RS-485 or RS-422, and CAN messages are passed on to the serial side, so legacy equipment can take part in CAN-based control and monitoring without changes to the devices themselves.
The converter is compliant with CAN 2.0A/2.0B and ISO 11898-2 and supports CAN baud rates from 10 k to 1 M bps. CAN and serial communication parameters are software configurable. Galvanic isolation (3 kV DC-to-DC and 2500 Vrms photocoupler on the CAN side) protects the serial equipment from faults arriving over the CAN network.
A hardware watchdog helps the unit recover from disturbances in harsh or electrically noisy environments. Power, data and error LEDs show operating status, and the DIN-rail housing with a -25 ~ +75 °C operating range suits industrial control cabinets.
