GW-7243D-G DeviceNet Slave / Modbus Master Gateway
DeviceNet slave and Modbus master gateway for the GW-7243D-G CR. It lets a DeviceNet master poll Modbus TCP, RS-232 and RS-485 slave devices through one module.

Produktinformasjon "GW-7243D-G DeviceNet Slave / Modbus Master Gateway"
GW-7243D-G CR connects Modbus slave devices to a DeviceNet network. On the DeviceNet side it operates as a Group 2 Only Server and waits for the DeviceNet master to establish its connections. On the Modbus side it acts as the master, cyclically issuing commands to the slave devices it is configured to read and write.
Modbus TCP client and Modbus RTU/ASCII master interfaces run at the same time, so slave devices with an Ethernet, RS-232 or RS-485 interface can all be mapped into one DeviceNet installation. This removes the need for a separate gateway for each communication type.
A GW-7243D Utility tool is supplied for configuration and for generating the EDS file, which helps speed up commissioning of the DeviceNet and Modbus setup.
