The DN-8468GB CR is a general purpose daughter board that connects four stepper or servo axes to ICP DAS 4-axis motion controllers. It converts the controller's signals into screw-terminal wiring, with high-speed photo-coupling isolation to help protect the controller from the drive side.
Each of the four axes has its own group of terminals carrying the pulse command lines, encoder feedback, home, near-home and limit-switch inputs, and a servo-enable output. Connectors can be swapped between axes to change the axis assignment without rewiring. An onboard power module accepts 20 ~ 26 VDC and supplies the board's internal circuits.
Status LEDs show power and the home and limit switch states. Where the controller supports FRnet, the board also provides an FRnet terminal for high-speed serial I/O expansion. Suitable for engineers building general purpose motion systems who need a clean, isolated interface between a 4-axis controller and their drives.
