DN-831I-100V-500A is a signal conditioning module that brings high voltage and high current signals down to a level that standard analogue input modules can read. Its voltage channel attenuates inputs up to ±100 V, and its current channel uses a clip-type current transformer to attenuate inputs up to ±500 A, with both outputs scaled to ±10 V.
The module provides 3000 VDC isolation between the modules and between channels, which helps keep noise from the high-level inputs out of the outputs. The linear attenuation ratio and high input impedance make the outputs straightforward to interpret. This ordering code includes the CA-040415 cable and the ASO-0001 current transformer.
It is intended for use with analogue input modules such as the I-7017, I-87017, M-7017RMS and I-87017W-RMS to measure high current. The module mounts on DIN-rail and is powered from +10 VDC to +30 VDC.
