The DB-24C CR adds 24 NPN open-collector digital outputs to a data acquisition setup. The outputs are split into four separately isolated groups, which helps keep field wiring apart from the host side and suits switching duties such as on/off control and process control.
Current ratings differ by channel group: 16 channels are rated 100 mA and 8 channels 600 mA, both at 30 Vdc. Each output has an LED status indicator, and the screw terminals simplify field wiring. The board connects directly to OPTO-22 compatible boards through its OPTO-22 connector, with a 37-pin D-sub and a 20-pin connector also fitted.
This CR ordering code includes a CA-5015 flat cable (50-pin, 1.5 m). Typical use cases include energy management and test automation. The module is RoHS and WEEE certified.
