The DB-1825/2 CR breaks out the 37-pin cable I/O port of PCI-1202U, PCI-1602U and PCI-1802U data acquisition cards onto a screw terminal board, so field wiring can be terminated without working directly at the card. It is supplied with a 2 m DB37 male-to-male cable (CA-3720) for the connection to the card.
The board provides 32 single-ended or 16 differential channels, as stated for this series. Blank pads allow the user to add break detection, a low-pass filter, a current shunt and a voltage divider by manual soldering, which suits engineers who need to adapt the signal conditioning to their own circuit.
The board measures 170 mm x 114 mm and is rated for an operating range of 0 to +60 °C with 10% to 90% humidity, non-condensing. It carries CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE marks.
