CD-002 is a split ferrite core for suppressing electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference on round cables. Its hinged plastic case closes around the cable and holds the ferrite securely in place, so it can be fitted without re-terminating the cable.
The core is aimed at low-frequency noise generated by engine control units, inverters and motors. It can be retrofitted to installed equipment or added during post-assembly work on the data and power cables of electronic devices, which suits environments where EMI or RFI affects signal integrity.
Each package contains 10 cores, supplied in white and rated for an operating temperature of -40 °C to 75 °C. Maximum cable diameter is Ø13 mm.
