CAN-2054C CR is a CANopen slave I/O module that brings eight isolated digital inputs and eight isolated sink-type digital outputs onto a CAN bus network. It operates as an NMT slave and follows CiA DS-301 v4.02 and DSP-401 v2.1, so it can be read and configured through a standard CANopen master.
The inputs are wet-type and accept sink or source signals, with an ON level from +3.5 to +30 VDC. Each output is an open-collector channel rated at 700 mA per channel, suited to switching loads from +5 to +30 VDC. Each channel has 4 kV contact ESD protection, and the module includes a default EDS file and a built-in 120 Ω terminal resistor.
Pair-Connect and PDO mapping support simplify network setup, and a hardware watchdog helps the module recover from faults. The unit is DIN-rail mounted and specified for an operating range of -25 to +75 °C.
