The A-726 CR is an ISA bus data acquisition card for engineers who need six 12-bit analogue outputs alongside 16 TTL digital inputs and 16 TTL digital outputs in a single PC slot. It is designed to be fully compatible with the A-626, so it can be used as a like-for-like option in existing ISA-based systems.
Each D/A channel can be set individually by jumper to one of several output ranges: ±10 V, ±5 V, 0 ~ 5 V, 0 ~ 10 V, or 4 ~ 20 mA (sink). The reference circuit can use an internal -5 V or -10 V source, or an external reference of up to ±10 V, AC or DC. An on-board reference device is included to limit reference voltage drift with temperature.
Software support covers DLL and ActiveX control, with sample programs for Turbo C++, Borland C++, Microsoft Visual C++, Borland Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic and LabVIEW. Driver support is listed for Linux, DOS, Windows 98/NT/2000 and 32-bit Windows XP/Vista/7.
