NSM-200SX2 converts a 10/100/1000Base-T copper Ethernet connection into a 1000Base-SX multi-mode fibre link, letting engineers extend an existing network or connect a copper-only device to fibre without changing the rest of the installation. The single SC port uses 50/125 μm multi-mode fibre at 1310 nm with a rated distance of 2 km.
The unit suits industrial cabinets where reliability matters. It offers store-and-forward processing, transparency to jumbo frames, and Link Fault Pass-through (LFP), which can be enabled by DIP switch so that a fault on one side of the link is reflected to the other. Redundant +12 VDC ~ +48 VDC power inputs, a relay alarm output and a metal casing complete the specification, with DIN-rail or optional wall mounting.
