NS-205G is an unmanaged 5-port switch with RJ-45 ports that run at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps. Each port negotiates its speed and duplex automatically, and auto MDI/MDI-X lets you connect ports to end devices or other switches without choosing a crossover cable.
The switch uses store-and-forward processing with a 4096-entry MAC table and 1.5 Mbit of frame buffer memory. Jumbo frames up to 9 K are supported at 1000 Mbps, and both IEEE 802.3x and back pressure flow control are available. A per-port link and data rate LED helps with fault finding on site.
Power comes from a +10 ~ +30 VDC input with reverse polarity protection. The plastic housing mounts on a DIN rail and is rated for an operating range of -40 °C ~ +75 °C. Certifications listed for this model are CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE.
