The NS-200PS CR is a Powered Device (PD) that takes a Power over Ethernet feed from a PSE and separates it into an Ethernet data connection and a 24 VDC power output. It lets a single cable to the cabinet supply both the network link and the power for a nearby device.
Power is detected and classified automatically, and it is accepted from either the signal pairs or the unused pairs. The output is isolated and protected against short circuits, with a rated 10 W at 24 VDC (0.42 A). The slim plastic housing measures 33 x 107 x 78 mm (W x L x H) and mounts on a DIN rail.
Rated for operating temperatures from -40 °C to +75 °C, the unit is certified to CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE. Specified standards are IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3x and 802.3af.
