The I-7017R-A5-G CR is a DIN-rail analog input module for engineers who need to measure high-voltage signals over RS-485. It accepts ±50 V or ±150 V inputs across eight differential channels, with 16-bit resolution and an input impedance of 290 kΩ on the voltage ranges.
This gray-cover variant is built for signals that would overload standard low-voltage input modules. Overvoltage and common voltage protection are rated at ±200 VDC, and the module offers ±4 kV ESD contact protection on each terminal. Sampling can be switched between Normal Mode at 10 Hz and Fast Mode at 50 Hz, with accuracy of ±0.1% of FSR and ±0.5% of FSR respectively.
Communication runs through one RS-485 port using the DCON protocol at 1200 ~ 115200 bps, with data format (N, 8, 1). The module is powered from +10 ~ +30 VDC with reverse polarity protection and is rated for operation from -25 ~ +75 °C.
